For years I only used one form of lubricant for anal-olive oil. It was readily available, lasts a long time, is fairly cheap, and seemed to work just fine for both penile and anal play. I tried water based lubes from common brands for anal but I found it to be too slick, dries out insanely fast and even water based lube was pricey for how quick you go through it. So I stuck with the olive oil until I was met with a problem and a curious question. I read many reviews of the different kinds of powdered lubes that you just add water to and one name kept popping up as the golden standard...X-Lube. The official definition: X-Lube is a pure, single-ingredient powder concentrate made of polyethylene oxide. Unlike other powder or liquid lubricants that use up to 75% sugar fillers, salts, or chemical preservatives, it is entirely inert, meaning it will not get tacky, stain fabrics, or feed bacteria. This lube is widely known as the lube specialized for anal fisting. The smallest size they have in stock is 100 grams, and after shipping it is about $40 which made me hesitate on buying lube at that price. The thing is 100 grams of this can make OVER 5 GALLONS of lube and the powder itself has an expiration date years away. So I thought I'd take the bite given I wont be buying lube for a longggg time if this stuff works. Once arrived I immediately created some lube. First you want to grab a squeezable sports water bottle. You are supposed to pour water in first then add the powder. Once made the lube is good for about two weeks so make only the amount you'd use in two weeks. For me I fill the bottle only a third of the way up, you want to have the lube be thick for anal play so I find a cap and a half of the powder to be good for a 1/3 of a bottle. Shake for 20 seconds and wait 20 minutes. The longer you wait the more consistent the lube will be. Now testing it out, this lube is very stringy when created thick so if you don't like it thick just add more water. The lube stayed on my toys very well and it was the perfect amount of slipperiness. I did not have to add lube constantly and when I did need lube I was able to use it generously because of how cheap it is to make per bottle. This lube has no smell and can't create a permanent stain on fabric. Something I had to worry about with the olive oil. Being able to control the thickness of the lube is a game changer and has allowed me to take on my largest toys that I struggled to get in before. Buy it once and enjoy the perfect lube for anal for a long long time.
